How we do CrossFit differently at Brazen Athletics

We opened our doors in February of 2014 with a goal to provide a space where people can not only get stronger and fitter, but feel comfortable to be themselves, to “Be Brazen”!

Our workouts are based in the CrossFit-style of training, and we incorporate our own take on the constantly varied movements and intensity levels. Our “programming with a purpose” is done in house to ensure we stay connected to how our athletes are moving and improving. At Brazen, we focus on workout sustainability, preventing burnout, so you can continue to safely progress for years to come and feel good doing the things you enjoy most in life! We want you to feel good in your body and feel good in life!

What to expect in our classes:

  • A detailed explanation of the workout and demonstration of the movements, including recommended modifications and pacing strategies.

  • A guided warm up.

  • A check in with your coach to see if you have any questions and to make sure you are choosing the appropriate weight. Further review of movements if needed.

  • Once the workout begins, your coach will observe everyone in class and make movement corrections as needed, this may or may not include changing your weight

  • You will be provided with an app that allows you to track and record each workout. This app also provides workout notes from our Head Coach and Programmer, Jeff.

  • Finally, some cool down stretches to wind down.
